With the start of the new school term, it’s time to get back into the packed lunch routine. I can still remember the excitement of choosing my new lunch box for the year ahead and it’s the same for my kids now. With their help, I’ve picked out our top 5 favourite lunch boxes for under £10, all available from Festival Place Shopping Centre.

Mike the Knight lunchbox – this striking design is perfect for any budding knights in training (£10, M&S). Just keep those samdwiches away from Sparkie and Squirt!

Peppa Pig lunch bag– the ever-popular Peppa is still a firm favourite in our house. The traditional rectangular design makes it easy to pack and it’s also insulated to keep food cool(£8 down from £10, BHS).

Moshi Monsters lunch bag – Moshi merchandising knows no bounds, but this lunch bag is one of our favourites (£9, M&S). Perfect for your little Moshlings.

Superman lunch bag – The timeless appeal of Superman makes this lunch bag a popular choice (£8 down from £10, Debenhams). Not bad for a superhero now in his 70s!

Kapalua Bay lunch bag – if you have teenagers that couldn’t think of anything worse than taking a brightly coloured lunch box to school, this insulated bag is discretely understated, but will still keep lunch and drinks cool (£9, M&S). It’s also a great choice for bigger ‘kids’ for the office.
